Why Memberships Are Important for Your Medspa’s Success

August 7, 2023 by Princeton Medspa Partners

Why Memberships Are Important for Your Medspa’s Success

Looking for an effective way to scale up your practice and foster long-lasting client relationships? Membership programs are great for encouraging customer retention and recurring revenue — key elements to any successful business.

Typically, membership programs drive continual revenue that is billed automatically at the beginning of each month or each year, depending on how your program is structured. This setup can be simple or complex with multiple membership levels. Loyalty programs are incredibly popular with recurring clients who look forward to discounted rates and special add-ons to their favorite services.

Implementing medspa membership programs for your practice can also help:

Keep clients engaged

Membership programs orient clients around results and encourage purchasing a series of treatments to achieve a desired outcome. These programs provide you with valuable information about your clients’ purchasing behavior so you can better engage with them. There’s also an opportunity for increased client engagement through digital marketing efforts like text and email messaging where you can send direct updates, promotions and rewards regarding membership status.

Drive client loyalty and financial predictability

A huge benefit to memberships is their ability to nurture a loyal client base. Your clients will appreciate being rewarded for their continuous purchases which will keep them coming back for more. A membership program will also structure your monthly/annual revenue and allow for predictable income and scheduling.

Garner new clients

With the right digital marketing tactics and strategies under your belt, you can successfully drive new business to your practice with the introduction of memberships. A membership program is a vital reason why someone would want to regularly visit your location, especially when you base the program on popular services such as Hydrafacial® or Botox®.

When you partner with Princeton Medspa Partners, our team of industry experts can help you create the most attractive and relevant membership program for your practice, integrate it seamlessly within your business model and effectively market it online and in-office.

Princeton Medspa Partners Acquires Genesis Medspa of Colorado Springs

July 26, 2023 by Princeton Medspa Partners

Princeton Medspa Partners Acquires Genesis Medspa of Colorado Springs

Princeton Medspa Partners recently acquired Genesis Medspa, a Colorado Springs-based aesthetic medical practice. The business was founded in 2007 by industry expert Dr. Lisa Jenks, M.D., who has long been an influencer in the medical spa industry, was named to the advisory board of Skin Inc. in 2018 and operates DermAesthetic Consulting, a successful consulting business that helps educate and train physicians interested in entering the medical aesthetics industry.

After the closing, Dr. Jenks expressed her excitement about the partnership. “I am very excited to transition my legacy to people that I can trust. The Genesis name means a lot to me, and I wanted to make sure that I partnered with a group that would continue its excellent reputation. I believe I have done just that.”

PMP Senior Vice President of Operations Gary Bufalo, Jr. added to this sentiment, stating, “After meeting the Genesis team and seeing the passion and commitment each member has to a best-in-class client experience, I am confident that they are a perfect fit for the growing PMP family.”

Here’s a look at what this acquisition means for PMP:

Our fifth physician-owned acquisition

Genesis Medspa marks the fifth physician-owned medical spa acquired by PMP, and its seventh total acquisition. Princeton focuses on partnering with highly successful and long-tenured medical spas precisely like Genesis. Upon closing the deal, PMP CEO Nick Williams stated, “Genesis is far and away the highest-rated medical spa in Colorado Springs, and one of the best aesthetic medical practices in the state. The addition of this partnership to our company is another major feather in our hat.”

Tremendous growth in our future

Princeton Medspa Partners has grown dramatically since Williams joined the organization in September of 2022, with him leading the company to more than double in size in both locations and revenue in his first nine months as CEO. “I am extremely proud of the growth of the company, but I am far prouder of the incredible quality of practices that we are attracting. Genesis is a great example of the high-quality assets that make up this organization, and why we are extremely excited about its future,” Williams stated.

The opportunity to attract more top tier practices

As a national aggregator of medspas and aesthetic medical practices, we focus our efforts on acquiring and managing provider-owned and driven businesses, as well as franchise developments. We have significant experience in medspa operations and boast the winner of the Aesthetic Guide’s 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award, Francis Acunzo, as our President. PMP currently owns/manages 10 corporate locations, with a significant number of new acquisition opportunities signed.

PMP Acquires Kovak Cosmetic Center and Forms Medical Advisory Board

PMP Acquires Kovak Cosmetic Center and Forms Medical Advisory Board

Princeton Medspa Partners recently closed on the acquisition of Kovak Cosmetic Center, a Chicago suburbs-based medical spa owned by aesthetic medicine thought leader Dr. Stanley Kovak.

Dr. Kovak will remain the lead physician at KCC as well as spearhead the creation of PMP’s Medical Advisory Board. This physician-governed body will present medical leadership support to the PMP portfolio of clinics, as well as provide service line coaching and training.

About Dr. Stanley Kovak

Dr. Kovak is an international speaker and cosmetic medical textbook author who founded Kovak Cosmetic Center in 1995. With this acquisition, Dr. Kovak will continue his more than 20-year run as one of Chicago’s top aesthetic medical providers. Both he and the practice have earned numerous awards and distinctions and have been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

“There were a lot of companies interested in my practice, but in the end, Princeton Medspa Partners was the only one that made sense,” says Dr. Stanley Kovak. “They are partnering with best-in-class medical spas and have made a real commitment to focusing on a patient care-centric model.”

Response from PMP

“Kovak Cosmetic Center is the exact kind of established, blue-chip medical spa we want to build our company around,” states Nick Williams, Princeton Medspa Partners CEO. “The value that KCC brings to PMP is immense, but the thought leadership that Dr. Kovak will personally bring to this company is even more intriguing. I am very excited to see him get the Medical Advisory Board established, as I strongly believe that the increased focus we are placing on physician input and thought leadership in the company will truly set us apart in the market.”

“I have known Dr. Kovak for a very long time, and I have even shared the podium with him on more than one occasion,” says Princeton Medspa Partners President Francis Acunzo. “This partnership is an incredible addition to the PMP brand, and is going to further supercharge our growth, both in clinical performance as well as attracting new partnership opportunities to the business.”

We are proud to be a national aggregator of medspas and aesthetic medical practices, focusing our efforts on acquiring and managing provider-owned and driven businesses, as well as franchise developments. Top Trends Shaping the Future of the Medspa Industry

June 1, 2023 by Princeton Medspa Partners

Top Trends Shaping the Future of the Medspa Industry

Since Francis and Colleen Acunzo launched the very first medical spa through a business venture with Candela Corporation in 1996, the medical spa industry has been constantly changing and evolving. There are several reasons attributed to its success and popularity as well as predictions for significant growth.

Let’s touch on the top trends we’re seeing in 2023 and how Princeton Medspa Partners (PMP) can help your practice stay ahead of the curve:

1. Increasing demand for non-surgical treatments

Due to factors such as minimal downtime, lower risks and fewer side effects, many people prefer to go the non-surgical route over an invasive surgical procedure whenever possible. Medspas today are fully equipped with a wide range of non-invasive and minimally invasive aesthetic treatments to choose from, including injectables, clinical skin care, laser skin rejuvenation and non-invasive body contouring.

2. Advancements in technology

Innovations in laser, radiofrequency and energy-based technologies have made medspa treatments safer, more comfortable, more effective and more efficient. Advanced imaging systems are also being incorporated into the medspa space, allowing practitioners to provide accurate assessments of clients’ skin conditions and customized treatment plans.

3. Enhanced focus on wellness services

More medspas are adopting an integrative approach, combining traditional medspa services with wellness treatments to give clients a more holistic experience that focuses on self-care and overall well-being. Popular services include IV therapy, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, medically supervised weight loss and more.

4. Social media engagement

The connectivity of social media platforms has allowed medspas to reach a wider audience, build brand awareness among potential clients and engage with the community in a way they never could before. User-generated content especially is an effective way to build trust and credibility by sharing authentic testimonials and before-and-after photos with your audience.

5. A shift in cultural perception

The stigma associated with cosmetic treatments for aesthetic enhancement has come a long way since Botox® was first introduced to the public. In fact, medspas are more mainstream than ever before. With shifting attitudes, people are becoming more accepting of medspa treatments to elevate their natural beauty and boost their confidence.

How PMP can help your practice thrive PMP’s unprecedented team of aesthetic pioneers and thought leaders offer unparalleled industry expertise to help your medspa stay on the cutting edge. Our decades of combined experience give us a unique advantage, offering extensive knowledge and guidance in business, marketing, technology, recruiting, accounting, education and more.

We know what it takes to run a successful medical spa in today’s market. If you’re interested in partnering with PMP, email us today at info@princetonmedspapartners.com.

Catherine comes into this role with coaching and leadership training experience as the Area Manager of one of our acquisitions, Greenspring Medical Aesthetics in Tucson, Arizona.

About Catherine’s position
