Get To Know Our Industry Experts: Q&A with Gary A. Bufalo, Jr.

Gary A Bufalo, Jr., Princeton Medspa Partner’s Vice President of Operations, comes into his role with more than 20 years of experience in sales, operations, training and development. Gary has been a part of multiple national organizations, including Ideal Image, Athletico Physical Therapy and ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers, in addition to having owned his own health and wellness business for seven years.


Currently, Gary is in the process of completing his training to become a Certified Post Merger Integration Expert through the Institute for Mergers Acquisitions & Alliances. Throughout his career, Gary has been involved with seven company acquisitions, helping to integrate more than 50 clinic locations post acquisition.


We took the opportunity to ask Gary about his career, his involvement with Princeton Medspa Partners and his predictions for the future of the industry:

Q: Describe your role as Princeton Medspa Partner’s Vice President of Operations.


A: As Vice President of Operations for PMP, I’m part of the leadership team that works on our due diligence prior to the acquisition, and then have the honor of being on-site the day of the announcement to help ensure a smooth transition for everyone involved. Post-acquisition, I work with our sellers and clinics day-to-day and help them flourish with the new chapter that lies ahead.


Q: How have your decades of business experience prepared you for this role?


A: Having owned my own business for many years and then selling it, in addition to having worked as a sales and operations leader for one of the largest national med spas in the U.S., as well as being on the M&A post acquisition team with another national organization, has made my transition into Princeton Medspa Partners the absolute perfect fit for my professional passion, personality and 20 years of experience. I absolutely love being part of the Princeton Medspa Partners Family!

Q: What is your outlook on the future of the medspa industry?


A: I’m incredibly confident that this is an industry that not only has continued to grow year after year but continues to grow with no end in sight. The medspa industry used to be more of a hush, hush industry. People have benefited from the services for years, but haven’t always talked about it with their peers, friends and family. Now, it’s a topic that is mainstream and more people are talking about it and sharing the amazing results they’ve seen from their treatments.
